Help – Vantage® CTH3 (modulating)

Vantage® CTH3 Burners and Accessories

Roberts Gordon Vantage® Modulating Series provides an energy efficient option for space heating and building comfort. Modulating infrared heaters paired with a modulating thermostat capture the full heater input range. When the thermostat calls for heat, the infrared heater turns on at the minimum btu/h input, slowly heating the space to satisfy the room temperature. Once the temperature with the space has been satisfied, the heater modulates down maintaining the temperature but with less energy. These burners are approved for installations up to 2000′ (610 m) without modification.

Step 1 – Select Vantage® CTH3 Burner Package

All Vantage® CTH3 burner packages include applicable flex gas line and appropriate turbulator (when required). Model and Input Rate are shown below.

Note: Not approved for high altitude applications

Step 2 – Select the Heat Exchanger Package

All Core Packages (CP) include a 10 ft. ALUMI-THERM® steel burner tube. Extension Packages (EXP) are used only to extend Core Package (CP) lengths. Heaters over 50′ in tubing length require an Extension Package. For example, CTH3 200 has 60′ in tubing length, requiring a 30 ft. Core Package and a 30 ft. Extension Package.

Step 3 – Select Accessories

Control with a thermostat is an option. VANTAGE® Modulating heaters require a 2-wire or 4-wire electronic low voltage thermostat.
